Established in 1990, the Department of Microbiology has evolved into a center of scientific inquiry, offering a curriculum that integrates foundational microbiology with the latest advancements. Our department emphasizes hands-on laboratory experience and interdisciplinary learning, preparing students for diverse fields. With a dedicated faculty, we foster intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and professional growth. Students are encouraged to undertake independent projects and skill development, supported by a comprehensive collection of books, magazines, and journals.

Industrial Visit to CMFRI- Kochi & Munnar from February 23rd to 25th 2024.
The students of Biological Sciences visited CMFRI in Cochin and Spice gardens in Munnar as part of their study tour from February 23 to 25th. A total of 90 students attended the tour.They were accompanied by 4 staff members.
