Yes. Students awaiting Board exam results may apply. Admission will remain provisional until qualifying examination marks cards are submitted.
Yes. Students from recognized national and international boards are eligible, subject to programme-specific eligibility criteria.
All applicants are required to appear for the online SAU-ET (Entrance Test) as part of the admission process.

Yes. Shortlisted candidates must report for the interview along with a parent/guardian and bring all original documents. Candidates are expected to be neatly dressed; boys should ensure proper grooming of their hair and beard.
Yes. NRI and Foreign students and other state students who are unable to attend the campus in person may be allowed to appear for the interview online. Details and login instructions will be shared through email/WhatsApp prior to the interview. However, after admission confirmation, students must report to the admission office to complete the admission formalities.

Yes. The campus has a banking facility along with an ATM for the convenience of students.

Students are expected to make their own arrangements based on their preferences and availability.

AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) does not consider either B.E or B. Tech as different courses, hence equal recognition is granted for both of them.
The duration of both B.E. and B. Tech courses are for the same time period of 4 years.
Both B.E. and B. Tech courses are divided into 8 semesters, with 2 semesters in a year.
In terms of Job opportunities in the market, students having either a B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) or B. Tech (Bachelor of Technology) Degrees have equal opportunities and have equally good scope. It is in no way going to be a hindrance to good career growth.
B. Tech (Bachelor of Technology) is more technology oriented and are frequently updated as per the latest developments in the respective field.
SADET 2026 is the entrance exam for getting admission into the B.Tech programs at St Aloysius Deemed to be University. CET scores are not accepted.
The School of Engineering is located in the St Aloysius Deemed to be University, main campus at Lighthouse Hill Road, Mangalore.
