St Aloysius Deemed-to-be University has a rich history of excellence in National Cadet Corps (NCC) training, with all three wings - Army, Navy, and Air Wing - established in 1956 with all three wings which consist of 254 NCC cadets . The university's NCC program is built on the motto of "unity and discipline," reflecting its commitment to developing well-rounded individuals who can serve the nation.

Throughout the year, cadets undergo rigorous institutional training, which prepares them for various roles in the armed forces and beyond. The university's campus serves as an examination center for B and C certificate exams for the Mangalore group, demonstrating its reputation for academic excellence and commitment to NCC training.

Many St Aloysius alumni have gone on to join the armed forces as officers and in various ranks, driven by a desire to serve the nation. The institution's NCC program has been recognized for its excellence, earning the Best Institutional Award from the state in 2015 and 2021.

The university's Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) have also received prestigious awards, including the DDG Award and the State Chief Minister's Commendation Card.
