About
I am a media educator, researcher, and communication professional currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Journalism and Mass Communication. My academic and professional journey has been shaped by a commitment to meaningful learning, research, and social impact, enabling me to bridge classroom knowledge with industry and governance perspectives.
A defining phase of my career was serving as an Analyst for the Indian Administrative Fellowship (KA-21 Cohort) under The/Nudge Foundation in collaboration with the Karnataka Panchayat Raj Commissionerate. This experience provided me with valuable exposure to public policy implementation, governance systems, stakeholder engagement, and developmental initiatives at the grassroots level. Working closely with government-led projects strengthened my analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and understanding of how communication can drive social transformation.
In academia, I have been engaged in teaching subjects such as Photography, Film Studies, Design Concepts, Television Production, Visual Communication, and Digital Media. My industry experience in news media, content production, editing, voice-over work, and digital communication enables me to bring practical insights into the learning environment, helping students connect theory with professional practice.
Beyond teaching, I actively contribute to research, academic administration, quality assurance initiatives, event management, and student development activities. I have participated in organizing national and international academic events and have contributed to scholarly publications. Proficient in industry-standard creative and media production tools, I continuously strive to stay aligned with emerging trends in communication and media education.
My objective as an educator is to cultivate critical thinking, creativity, and professional excellence while preparing students to become responsible communicators, innovative storytellers, and impactful contributors to society.
