Having 10 years of teaching experience and a background as a News Editor and Anchor. I specialize in Television and Radio Production, Advertising and Marketing Communication, Media Law and Ethics, Development Communication, and Audio-Visual Production.
I hold a Master’s in Communication and Media Studies from St. Aloysius College (Autonomous) and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. at St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University). My research interests focus on social media, media ethics, cinema studies, and community mobilization. I have presented research papers at national and international conferences, exploring topics such as OTT platforms, environmental cinema, and human rights reporting.
In addition to teaching, I serve as the Executive Producer of Campus Eye, the department’s weekly student news bulletin, overseeing 130+ episodes to enhance students' hands-on newsroom experience. I actively contribute to curriculum development, student mentorship, and media research projects.
To stay updated with industry trends, I have participated in Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), international conferences, and media workshops. I also coordinate media festivals and cultural events, fostering a dynamic learning environment.
With a strong commitment to education and media innovation, I aim to bridge the gap between theory and practice, equipping students with the skills necessary for the evolving media landscape.

Have been the Executive Producer of Campus Eye, the department’s weekly student news bulletin, overseeing around 130 episodes. My role includes content development, production coordination, and editorial supervision, providing students with hands-on newsroom experience.
Have been an active participant in various university events, contributing to camera production and enhancing live event coverage
Worked as a News Presenter, Program Host, and AV Editor at Spandana TV, a reputed news channel in coastal Karnataka, from 2013 to 2014, and later as a Freelance Editor and Content Creator from 2014 to 2016. Following this, I served as an Assistant Professor at Alva’s College for five years, gaining extensive experience in media education before joining my current role.
