Dr Jyothi Miranda, currently working as a Professor in the Department of Botany at St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru. Her research areas include Phycology -Diversity, Ecology, Bioprospecting, Phycoremediation of heavy metals, Limnology, Environmental Monitoring, Plant Diversity & Taxonomy. She has published eight Research publications, three book chapters and one book contributing significantly to her field. Besides research, her goals in teaching involve fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student growth, and inspiring a love for learning.
