Joined the physics department of St Aloysius college during the year 1988. Afterwards served the department at various capacities as lecturer, Associate professor and at Present as professor. Also served the institution as dean of student welfare for 7 years. Served as the head of the department of Physics from February 2023. At present serving as the director of xavier UG science block since September 2024.
