Department Leadership

  • Heading the Department: Provide overall leadership and direction to the department, ensuring academic excellence, operational efficiency, and alignment with institutional goals.
  • Monitoring Student Attendance: Oversee and track student attendance across the department, ensuring adherence to academic policies and maintaining high standards of discipline.
  • Conducting Staff Meetings: Organize and lead regular staff meetings to discuss academic progress, address concerns, and collaborate on departmental initiatives and improvements.
  • Assistance to Staff: Offer support and guidance to faculty members in their academic and professional development, helping them to enhance teaching methodologies and research contributions.
  • Preparation of Schedules and Budgets: Develop and manage departmental schedules, ensuring smooth coordination of classes, events, and activities. Additionally, prepare and oversee departmental budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Syllabus Revision: Compile and revise the syllabus for the two-year MBA programme, ensuring that course content is up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with industry standards.

 Research Program Oversight

  • Research Program Documentation: Maintain and organize files and documentation related to the department’s research activities, ensuring proper record-keeping and easy access to essential information.
  • Guidance on SIP and SLP Projects: Provide guidance and mentorship to students on their Summer Internship Projects (SIP) and Service Learning Projects (SLP), helping them apply theoretical knowledge to practical challenges.
  • Minor Research Projects: Supervise and assist students  and research scholars in their minor research projects, offering expertise and ensuring that projects adhere to academic research standards.
  • Conducting Research-Focused FDPs and Workshops: Organize and facilitate Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and workshops focused on enhancing research skills and promoting academic collaboration within the department.
