Associate Professor - Stage II & HOD
Dr. Beena Dias is an accomplished academic and researcher with over 26 years of teaching experience, currently serving as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of MBA at AIMIT Centre, St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangalore. She holds a Ph.D in Human Resource Management from Mangalore University, guided by Dr. Subramanya Yadapadithaya. With a strong academic foundation, including a Master’s in Commerce and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, Dr. Dias has contributed significantly to both teaching and research.
She has presented 35 research papers at National and International conferences, including one in 2024, and published 11 research articles, one of which is in a reputed indexed journal. She has actively attended 28 Faculty Development Programs and 15 seminars/workshops, and recently organized two FDPs in 2024. Her ongoing research project, funded by MJES, focuses on the link between education, entrepreneurial intention, and orientation in Dakshina Kannada.
As a recognized research guide at Mangalore University and St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University), she is currently mentoring six doctoral scholars. Passionate about academic excellence and innovation, Dr. Beena Dias continues to inspire through her dedication to research, leadership, and quality education.
