The School of Business & Management, Department of MBA, AIMIT Centre, organized its annual event “Makarios”, a significant occasion where second-year MBA students are formally inducted into their new roles, taking an oath to manage all academic and co-curricular activities diligently. The event aimed to instill a sense of responsibility, leadership, and commitment among the students as they step into managerial and decision-making capacities.
The session was inaugurated by Mrs. Shwetha Shetty, a distinguished alumna of the institution. In her keynote address, she inspired the gathering by highlighting the importance of clarity in vision, consistency in achieving goals, developing the right attitude, and valuing time as a critical resource. Her insights, drawn from professional experience, resonated deeply with the students, motivating them to excel both personally and professionally.
The event was presided over by Rev. Dr. Fr. Kiran Coth, Director, who spoke about the significance of Makarios. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Miss Fathima Amreen, 1st year, MBA, acknowledging the presence of faculty, students, and dignitaries who made the occasion memorable.
