Socius - "Imperfectly Perfect - Accepting it" - St Aloysius (Deemed To Be University)

1   The Department of Sociology organized the annual department fest Socius 2.0 on 23rd August 2023. Mr Jeeth Milan Roche, Entrepreneur and Environmentalist was the chief guest for the inauguration which was presided by Dr Alwyn D'sa, Registrar and Controller of Examinations. The speaker for the day was Dr Falguni Vasavada, Professor of marketing and co- chair, MDP at MICA, Ahmedabad who spoke on the theme "Imperfectly Perfect - Accepting it". The 50 minutes talk was followed by a 1.5 hours Q&A session by 320 student participants across faculties within and outside the College (including 65 students from various PU colleges). The afternoon session witnessed various competitions held for the PU students. Dr Vishanz Pinto, HOD, Department of History was the chief guest for the valedictory program which was presided by Dr Roseveera D'Souza, Dean of Humanities. The All Rounder trophy was bagged by Christ the King PU college.
