SOE Faculty Undergo Hands-on CPR Training at Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences
Faculty members from the School of Engineering (SOE), led by Dr. S. Ruban, Dean–SOE, visited Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) on December 12, 2025, for a hands-on training session on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). The session was led by Dr. Rohan S. Monis, Chief Administrative Officer, KIMS, along with his team. The training covered key aspects of emergency response, including assessing the need for CPR, activating emergency medical services, and correctly performing CPR. This was followed by practical demonstrations, during which SOE faculty members actively performed CPR under expert guidance. The session aligns with the School of Engineering’s vision of contributing to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-being, by empowering faculty with life-saving skills and fostering a community that can respond effectively in critical situations.
