SOE Faculty engage with Innovators and Industry Leaders at Manipal Startup Expo 2025
August 25, 2025: Faculty from the School of Engineering, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), participated in the Manipal Startup Expo 2025 held at the Advanced Research Centre Campus, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). The event was organized by the Manipal-GoK Bioincubator–BioNEST, bringing together innovators and entrepreneurs from across the region.
The University team comprised Dr S. Ruban, Dr Geetha Pinto, and Mr Glenson Toney from the School of Engineering, along with Ms Savin Lobo from the Entrepreneurship Cell. They actively engaged with emerging startups working in diverse domains such as Biotech, HealthTech, AgriTech, AI, InfoTech, and DeepTech.
The visit provided opportunities to interact with founders, explore student internship prospects, and initiate collaborations with innovators contributing to the startup ecosystem of Mangaluru and Udupi- the “Silicon Beach of India.”
