Department of Computer Applications, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru , in collaboration with Infosys Springboard, hosted a Technical Session on Applied GenAI on July 9, 2025, with the goal of providing students with the necessary technical and professional skills. The programme was held in L. F. Rasquinna Hall, LCRI Block.
Ms. Aishwarya Rajeev, Senior Analyst at Infosys, delivered an informative session highlighting various learning opportunities available through Infosys Springboard. She spoke about the Video Proctor Course and the flexibility offered by virtual internships, which students can pursue at their convenience. She also provided a clear distinction between traditional Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI, and introduced students to some of the widely used Generative AI model.
All second year students were the beneficiaries. That is total of 340 students
