The Department of Computer Application, School of IT , St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), organized a guest talk titled “ Blockchain Unlocked: Learn It Before You Need It” on Wednesday, 20th August 2025, from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at Robert Sequeira Hall.
The session was led by Mr. Ajay Prinston Pinto, Assistant Professor, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangalore. He provided valuable insights into the fundamentals and applications of Blockchain technology. Through practical explanations and real-world examples, he highlighted the growing importance of Blockchain across industries, including finance, supply chain, and digital security.
Mr. Pinto emphasized the need for students to understand and adapt to emerging technologies like Blockchain before they become essential in the professional world. He encouraged learners to explore innovative applications of Blockchain that can address challenges in transparency, security, and trust. His engaging delivery and clarity of concepts made the session highly interactive and insightful.
An interactive Q&A session followed, allowing students to clarify their doubts and gain deeper knowledge of Blockchain applications.
A total of 169 BCA students benefited from this knowledge-sharing session.
