The Department of Electronics in collaboration with the Departments of Computer Science, Data Science, and Computer Animation, organized a guest talk on “Cybersecurity: A Techno-Socio-Economic and Psychological Perspective” on 23rd August 2025.
The resource person for the session was Mr. Naveenchandra Kumar, Chairman, Departments of Post graduate studies in Electronics and Cybersecurity at Mangalore University, who delivered an engaging and insightful talk on the multifaceted dimensions of cybersecurity. He emphasized not only the technical aspects but also the socio-economic and psychological implications of digital security in today’s interconnected world.
The session provided participants with a holistic understanding of cybersecurity challenges and strategies, encouraging them to approach the subject from both technological and human perspectives.
