On September 12, 2022, the Department of Commerce at St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, hosted an inspiring guest lecture on "Women Entrepreneurship." The event, which began at 1:00 p.m., featured Ms. Loraine Reema Cunha, the proprietor of Loraine’s Bridal Boutique in Mangalore, as the esteemed resource person. Ms. Cunha, an accomplished entrepreneur, shared her journey and experiences with the students, providing them with valuable insights into the world of entrepreneurship.

With 160 participants in attendance, including 150 second-year B.Com students, the session was a significant opportunity for the audience to gain firsthand knowledge from a successful businesswoman. Ms. Cunha’s talk focused on the challenges and rewards of being a woman entrepreneur and motivated students to consider entrepreneurship as a viable career path. Her practical advice and personal anecdotes resonated well with the students, encouraging them to explore their own entrepreneurial aspirations.
