On 12th September 2023, St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, organized an insightful guest lecture titled "Entrepreneurial Journey in the Tech Accessories Industry" hosted by the Department of Commerce. This event featured Ibrahim Elhar Gafoor, a notable entrepreneur, who shared his valuable experiences and knowledge with the students. The lecture attracted an impressive turnout of 210 participants, highlighting the significant interest in understanding the practical aspects of entrepreneurship.

Ibrahim Elhar Gafoor's session delved into his personal journey within the tech accessories industry, providing a candid look at the challenges and triumphs of his career. He spoke about the setbacks he encountered and the lessons learned from them, offering a realistic perspective on the entrepreneurial landscape. His stories and insights aimed to inspire students to pursue their own business ventures with confidence and resilience.

The talk was very well organized and the guest speaker gave a few insights as to how an average student can also achieve in life and become successful. Even after having failed in the beginning of his journey, he chose not to give up and worked even harder. One should never lose faith and confidence in himself. He stated an inspiring quote which changed his entrepreneurship journey: "If you don't build your dream, someone else will hire you to help build theirs."
