On Tuesday, December 18, 2021, the Department of Business Administration at St. Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, hosted a guest talk on "Modern Logistics Infrastructure." The event took place from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at AR 802, Aruppe Block, and was attended by around 200 participants.
The session was moderated by Ms. Vanshika Shetty, a student of III BBA-C, while Ms. Sidra Hussain, also from III BBA-C, delivered the welcome address. Ms. Aishani from III BBA-A introduced the guest speaker, Ms. Annika, who is an expert in the field of logistics.
Ms. Annika began by introducing the fundamental concepts of modern logistics infrastructure, using Amazon as a key reference to illustrate her points. Her presentation was enriched with real-life examples, making it easier for participants to grasp the complexities of modern logistics.
The primary objective of the guest talk was to share the knowledge and practical experiences of the guest speaker, which was successfully achieved. The participants found the session insightful and valuable, gaining a deeper understanding of modern logistics infrastructure. The overall organization and delivery of the talk met the expectations of the attendees.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Afrah Khan, following a brief question-and-answer session, bringing the informative event to a close.
