"Pursuing Higher Education Abroad & How to Approach a Career in Sciences."  
The department of Botany, School of Life Sciences successfully organised an alumni webinar 
on the topic "Pursuing Higher Education Abroad & How to Approach a Career in 
Sciences” on 27th January 2025 in Sanidhya Hall. The event aimed to provide insights and 
guidance to students aspiring to pursue higher education and careers in basic sciences. The 
session was conducted for about 80 students by distinguished alumnus Dr Sohail Keegan Pinto, 
Specialist, Public Relations and Communications Division, Office of Public Relations and 
Social Collaboration, Hokkaido University.
