An Alumni Interaction Session organized by Department of Botany was held on 9th march
2024 at Sanidhya. The resource person was Ms. Rushali Kamath, Senior research fellow (SRF)
at School of Biosciences and Bioengineering, IIT Mandi, Himachal Pradesh delivered an
insightful presentation on the topic "Impact of Basic Sciences: Divergence into many
opportunities".
Ms Rushali illuminated the audience about the importance of Basic Sciences and wide range
of career and research opportunities for students pursuing Biological Sciences. She also
emphasised on various competitive exams.
