The International Collaboration Cell at St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) is dedicated to fostering global partnerships and enhancing the international presence of our institution. Our cell actively collaborates with prestigious Universities and Organizations worldwide, promoting academic exchange, research collaborations, and cultural understanding. We offer diverse programmes such as student and faculty mobility, joint research initiatives, international internships, and global conferences, all aimed at enriching the educational experience and broadening horizons for our community. By building strong international networks, we prepare our students to thrive in a globalized world, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and perspectives necessary for success in their future endeavours.
In this direction, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) has drawn over 40 MOUs with international Universities from US, Germany, Japan, Spain, UK and other countries. Through these MOUs we are engaged in active collaboration with many Universities. There are also many other collaborations with foreign Universities without signed agreements.
In a landmark event, a delegation comprising 40 delegates from 17 U.S. universities visited St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) for a trade mission on February 14, 2024. This initiative facilitated bilateral interactions between faculty members of both institutions, paving the way for potential collaborative ventures and academic exchanges.
St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) is actively engaging with the top management of 9 Universities of Pennsylvania for potential collaboration opportunities. Noteworthy visits include Ms Kanika Chowdhury, Special Envoy of Pennsylvania, Prof. Bharathan and Prof. Prashanth Bharadwaj from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Carl Sheperis and Dr. Christina Kinney from Kutztown University. These interactions signify a mutual interest in fostering academic partnerships and joint initiatives.
The university has forged a strategic partnership with Olivet University, USA, for the MBA 500 program. Faculty members and students are undergoing specialized training designed to enhance their skills and competencies, thereby enriching the academic landscape of St Aloysius (Deemed to be University).
Other Significant Highlights:
- Recent Psychology students from Universidad Católica de Valencia, Spain visited the Institute for Project discussions
- Under the Study-abroad program students from The State University of New York at Cortland, USA complete one-semester courses in St Aloysius, ending with internships at institutions connected to their area of study. The number of students has increased steadily each year.
- Regular workshops were organised by US-India Educational Foundation at our Institute to provide information about Fulbright Scholarships to USA.
- International Induction Programme was attended by the staff and students of St Aloysius ( Deemed to be University) at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland.
- Project work by the Department of Health wherein students and faculty of the Health Department from the U.S. frequent St Aloysius to connect with the rehabilitation center and rural exposure.
