Mr Samuel Peters is a Lecturer in English at St Aloysius University, celebrated both in academic in academic circles and beyond for his eloquence and lyrical expression. His approach to teaching is shaped by his clarity, warmth, and the quiet confidence one can expect from someone shaped by growing in a Mancunian family.

Before stepping into academics, Mr Samuel Peters spent years on stage as the frontman of the touring band Sapphires, splitting his time between guitars, saxophones, vocals, and the late-night green room scribbles that would eventually grow into poems and short stories. He continues to lend his ear and pen to studio collaborations, weaving music and language in a way only a seasoned performer can. He is also very much into the darker side of the human psyche deriving pleasure through Horror Literature and is currently pursuing his P.hD in the same field.

When he is not teaching or writing, one will likely find him taking inspiration from the everyday; the quiet moments, the odd characters, the bits of life most people walk straight past. A dedicated reader, and an unabashed car enthusiast, he's equally at home with a stack of books as he is geeking over the latest bit of automotive development and journalism.
