• Synthesis of 4-{(E)-[(3-methyl-5-sulphanyl-4H-1, 2, 4-triazol-4-yl) imino] methyl} benzaldehyde and its complexes with Ag (I), Hg (II), Zn (II), Co (II), Ni (II) ions and its characterization.

• L-cysteine hydrochloride as a complexing agent for the determination of cobalt(II) by spectrophotometric method

• alpha benzoin oxime as the complexing agent for the estimation of small amount of nickel(II) without extraction

• A highly selective complexometric determination of mercury(II) using l-tyrosine as a masking agent

• A selective complexometric method of determination of manganese(II) using L-cystine as masking agent.

• Action of 4-[(Z)-(4-Methoxybenzylidene)amino]-5-methyl-4H-1,2,4triazole-3-thiol as chemosensor for the trace amount of copper in aqueous media.
