REPORT ON POSITIVE MINDSET

The Department of Post Graduate Studies and Research in Mathematics organized a guest talk on the topic of " Positive Mindset - Needs and Ways to Cultivate an Optimistic View " for MSc Mathematics students. The event took place on August 18, 2023. The primary objective of the guest talk was to enlighten the participants about the significance of maintaining a positive mindset and to explore various strategies for cultivating an optimistic perspective in both academic and personal life. The event drew a participation of 35 students.

The resource person was Ms Madhuri Holla, Student Counsellor, TLC School and PU College.

Ms Madhuri Holla introduced the concept of a positive mindset and explained its significance in various aspects of life. They emphasized how a positive mindset can enhance overall well-being, boost resilience, and improve problem-solving skills. Furthermore, the talk delved into practical strategies to nurture positivity, encompassing practices like mindfulness, reframing negative thoughts, and fostering a supportive environment.
