REPORT ON LEADERSHIP SKILLS( GUEST TALK)

The Department of Post Graduate Studies and Research in Mathematics organized a guest talk on the topic of "Leadership Skills" for MSc Mathematics students. The event took place on August 10, 2023, at the Joseph Willy Hall. The objective of the guest talk was to provide students with insights into the essential qualities and principles of effective leadership in the context of their academic and future professional pursuits. The event drew a participation of 35 students.

The resource person was Prof Adarsh Hegde, HOD, Hospital Administration Alvas College, Moodabidri.

The event provided a platform for students to interact, engage in thoughtful discussions, and gain a deeper understanding of the practical applications of leadership skills. Prof. Hegde's expertise and real-world examples added immense value to the students' academic journey, preparing them to be not only proficient mathematicians but also effective leaders in their chosen paths.
