REPORT

A talk on ‘Recent Development in Consumer Movements' held on 15-09-2022 at 3:00 pm by the Department of Commerce of St. Aloysius College Autonomous, Mangaluru in Association with Consumer Advocacy Group ( India) and Consumer Advocacy Group (Karnataka) through Hybrid Mode. Final year BCOM students participated in this talk. Dr Shrimant Tangade Associate Professor and HOD of Commerce and Management, Government First Grade College, Rajajinagar, Bengaluru the resource person. Ms Riya, student convener welcomed the resource person and the participants. Dr Abbobakar Sidque, Associate Professor, Coordinator of Consumer Advocacy Group (Karnataka) introduced the resource person. Dr Shrimant Tangade highlighted about how he filed a case in the consumer court and won the same. He stressed on the changes in the consumer commission, State commission and National commission. During interaction at the end of the session Dr Shrimant Tangade responded to the queries raised by the respondents. Dr Caroleena Janefer, Assistant Professor was the convener of the program.
