About

Dr. Swapna Rose is an accomplished academic and HR professional with nearly two decades of experience spanning corporate human resource development and management education. She began her career at Reliance Capital (2007–2009) as Senior Executive – HRD, where she spearheaded employee engagement and sales training initiatives that directly contributed to overall South Zonal performance improvement.

Since 2009, she has transitioned into academia, holding faculty positions in the Department of MBA at Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management (2009–2011) and the Department of MBA at Malik Deenar Institute of Management (2011–2014), where she guided students through academics, mentored projects, and supported placement outcomes.

Since 2014, Dr. Rose has been serving in the Department of MBA, St Aloysius Institute of Management & IT – St Aloysius Deemed to be University, contributing to teaching, research, consultancy, international collaboration, and institutional leadership. She is a recognized Research Guide, supervising four scholars, and has completed UGC and MJES minor research projects.

Her international exposure includes the Erasmus Scholarship (2022) for academic exchange in Spain and collaboration with Santa Clara University (USA) to initiate a business course. She has conducted consultancy projects for ONGC and MRPL, served as Resource Person for the Atal FDP, and organized Entrepreneurship Development Programmes (EDP).

She also holds leadership roles as member of the Board of Studies (School of Law) and Advisory Committee (School of Business), served as Chief Examination Coordinator and Digital Valuation Coordinator, and is Associate Editor of the International Journal of Knowledge Management (IJKM), IGI Global
