The BBA LL.B (Honours) program at St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) is a meticulously crafted five-year integrated course that seamlessly blends the disciplines of business administration and law, preparing students for leadership in both corporate and legal arenas. Rooted in the University's 145-year legacy of Jesuit education and academic distinction, the curriculum spans an expansive range of subjects that provide both depth and breadth of knowledge. Beginning with foundational courses in Principles of Management, Accounting, Economics, and English, the program builds toward advanced legal study through core subjects like Law of Torts, Contracts, Constitutional Law, Family Law, Administrative Law, and the newly codified Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA).
Integrated with this legal framework are crucial business subjects such as Human Resource Management, Marketing, Financial Management, and Business Ethics, offering students a dual lens to examine commercial and legal challenges. Students also engage with contemporary issues through specialised electives like Cyber Law, Environmental Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Competition Law, White Collar Crimes, and Humanitarian & Refugee Law. Experiential learning is central to the program, with structured internships, moot court exercises, client counselling, legal aid, dissertation writing, and drafting and pleading modules that sharpen real-world skills. The program's holistic and interdisciplinary approach, delivered through state-of-the-art facilities, a world-class law library, and an inspiring moot court environment, equips students not only to practice law but to become innovative thinkers, ethical leaders, and agents of justice in society.
