The Department of Kannada in Association with Dr Ramamanohara Lohia Adhyayana Peeta, Kannada University, Hampi, organised a special lecture on the topic "Samakaleena Sandarbhadalli Lohiavadada Nirvachana" on 22nd January 2020 at L.F. Rasquinha Hall, LCRI Block.

Dr S.Chi. Ramesh, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Kannada University, Hampi was the Chief Guest. Rev. Dr Praveen Martis, SJ presided over the programme. Dr Yarriswami E., Correspondent, Dr Rama Manohara Loyiya Adhyayana Peeta, Kannada University, Hampi was the Guest of Honour. Dr Alwyn D'Sa, Controller of Examinations, Dr Saraswathi Kumari, HOD of Kannada and Dr A. Subbanna Rai, Registrar, Kannada University, Dr Rajaram Tholpady, In-charge Director, Nehru Chinthana Kendra, Mangalore University, Hampi were on the dais.

Dr S.Chi. Ramesh, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Kannada University, Hampi, inaugurated the programme. Dr Yarriswami E., Correspondent, Dr Rama Manohara Loyiya Adhyayana Peeta delivered the inaugural address. Rev. Dr Praveen Martis, SJ delivered the presidential remarks.

Dr Rajaram Tholpady, In-charge Director, Nehru Chinthana Kendra, Mangalore University was the Main Speaker.  He shared his views on Dr Ram Manohara Lohiya's thoughts and his contributions to the nation.

Dr Vishwanatha Badikana compered the programme. Dr Saraswathi Kumari, welcomed the gathering and introduced the guests. Dr Dinesh Nayak proposed the vote of thanks.
