Anju is an enthusiastic and proactive educator who started her teaching career in 2015. She has taught Journalism and Communication papers at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Before pursuing a career in academia, she gained industrial experience by completing internships with the Times of India and the Indian Express as well as a content creator for Foonza Media.

Anju believes in the balance of theoretical and practical knowledge. She has proficiency in media designing software such as CorelDraw, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign and WordPress. She is also a dedicated researcher. She has published three peer-reviewed articles, and one book chapter and presented papers at national and international seminars. Anju was also a part of the Collaborative Community Project on Differently-abled and COVID-19: A study on the implementation of the 'home-schooling' program by CDMRP for its communities which was completed in 2021.
