The Department of Computer Science, Application and Animation of St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangaluru organized a one-day workshop on “Machine Learning on Using Python” on 23rd November 2019 at Sanidhya Hall.

Dr Vijayalakshmi M.N. and Dr Divya T.L. from RV College of Engineering, Bengaluru were the Resource Persons. Rev. Dr Praveen Martis, SJ, Principal, presided over the programme. Dr Dennis Fernandes, Director of Admin Block, Mr Naveen Mascarenhas and Ms. Premalatha Shetty, Convenors of the workshop and Mr Ashok M. Prasad, Dean of BCA were present on the dais.

Principal, Rev. Dr Praveen Martis, in his presidential remarks, congratulated the departments for organizing such a useful workshop. He said that, we are living in a technological world and we all should upgrade our knowledge according to the paradigm shift. Now-a-days students are born with digital world and they can catch the new technology very fast. This workshop will help students to upgrade their knowledge to the contemporary digital world.

Dr Dennis Fernandes shared his views about the workshop and commended the staff for their enthusiasm and zeal in organizing such programmes for the past years.

Supriya Rodrigues compered the programme. Mr Ashok M Prasad welcomed the gathering and introduced the resource persons. Ms Premalatha proposed the vote of thanks.
