The Quiz Association of St. Aloysius college organized ‘AL-CONNAISSANCE 2K18’, A National Level Quiz competition on 15th December 2018 at Eric Mathais Hall. The Quiz was conducted by quiz master Mr. Savin D’Souza who is the secretary of the association.

The quiz was open to all the PUC and Degree students of Karnataka and Kerala state. From various colleges participants enrolled in large number. Two participants make a team. Through the prelims top 6 teams were selected for the finals.  

Closing ceremony was graced by Directors of Admin Block and Xavier Block i.e. Dr. Alwyn D’sa and Dr. John D’silva.  Cash prizes worth Rs 5000 were distributed among for top 3 teams and e-certificates for all the participants were awarded. The Third Place was bagged by Mr. Mithuraj and Abdul Hashim of Government First Grade College, Carstreet, Mangalore. The Second Place was bagged by Sarwin and Alistain of St. Aloysius PU College, Mangalore. The First Place was bagged by Shadrul and Shreyas of Lourdes Central School, Mangalore.

Audience feedback was that the quiz was very informative.

This event was successful with the help of Quiz presidents Ms Vanaja, Mr Neeldeep, Mr Praveen and Secretaries Kavin Fernandes, Savin D’Souza and quiz association members.
